Remove the protective film carefully
A brand new sublimation blank is wrapped through a plastic film to prevent any unexpected damage. So you have to remove the film with utmost care. First cautionary measure is to avoid use any sharp material or your fingernail. To prevent any damage you should unwrap or remove the film through using something like tape with a sticky side to pull the adhesive from the blank.

Using bleed
Arrange your blank in a line so that it would get the side to be printed covering the transfer. Equal quantity of ink on both sides of the transfer would ensure you the right alignment. Keep the transfer in position by wrapping the both sides of the transfer above the back of the blank and securing it with heat press resistant tape.

Prevent blowouts
Improper heating or unusual pressure might cause blowouts. Preventing such type of situation you can use a Teflon pad to fold your transfer and reduce the variations in temperature. A digital pyrometer would be very helpful to measure the temperature variances.

Proper storing
Never try aligning sublimated products in direct contact with each other or with any other synthetic product. Any direct contact may allow the inks spread from the substrate to the synthetic material. It would also prevent your products from any scratch or damage.
